Trophy engraving is done by several methods here at AAA Trophy Shop. 1) Sublimation trophy engraving - a process of transitioning solid toner ink into a gas which then transfers onto the metal tag or plate to give a full color or one solid color beautiful imprint. 2) Laser engraving - laser trophy engraving - a laser engraver is used to literally burn away the outer layer of color paint and leaves the under layer of brass, aluminum or stell exposed. Laser trophy engraving offers very precise engraving and is perfect for tiny letters or where extreme details are needed to be engraved. 3) Diamond drag trophy engraving - the oldest most traditional method of engraving plaques or trophy tags. A hand engraver or the newer more popular computerized engravers actually use a diamond tip cutting tool to "scratch" the lettering or design into the plaque plate or trophy plate.
